Luke Ackermann is an emerging director, videographer, and editor living in Oahu, HI. He was raised in a small town; Sayulita, Mexico. Growing up surrounded by the rich colors, textures, and rhythms of this coastal town has profoundly shaped his artistic vision and approach to filmmaking. This environment sparked a desire to film the every-day beauty of local surfers, landscapes and communities. Ackermann’s earliest works are focused on capturing people and authentic moments.
